Today we have our monthly Artist Trading Card exchange at the Good Cup Cafe on the mesa.I was sorting paper in my art studio and came across some work by Aboriginal artists from Australia. Looking at their designs inspired me to do these ATC's for this month. For the dots I used a Sharpie Poster Paint pen that Teesha Moore told us about and are fun to use in artist journals.

hi mary - love your trading cards! i just came home from AU and a visit with the aboriginals. I watched a lady make a dot painting and was surprised to find she used very small dowel sticks instead of a brush - so that's how the dots turn out so perfectly! I bought a small matt and several magnets with hopes of trying this art myself! sandi in texas
